Rooms. Talk with Billy

The record · Sample dashboard

What people do day by day, who keeps them going, and what it adds up to.

Every evening check adds a data point, held by the partner that runs the room. This is the network-wide view, added up from partners' totals. Use the filters.

Synthetic sampleEvery number here is generated to show the format. None are results; no rooms have run yet. The patterns are built in to show what the record could reveal.

01 · THE 28 DAYS

Who keeps going

Share taking a step each day: people in rooms, against people using the same evening check alone.

In a roomAlone, same tool (comparison)

02 · THE PATH

From day one to day 90

Out of everyone who joined a room.

03 · SMALL STEPS ADD UP

More days with a step, more goals reached

Share who reached their bigger goal by day 28, grouped by how many days they took a step.

04 · AFTER A MISSED DAY

Being noticed brings people back

Chance of taking a step the day after a missed day, by what happened in between.

05 · SIZE OF GOAL

Bigger goals get changed more, not abandoned more

Where people were on day 28, by the size of their goal. "Changed course" means they learned the goal was wrong and said so.

Reached itChanged courseNot yet

06 · GEOGRAPHY

By region

Share still stepping in week four (3+ steps in days 22–28), in the three regions the first rooms are planned for. Illustrative: no rooms run in any region yet. Click one to filter.

Still going in week 4——Fewer than 30 people: hatched.
07 · 90 DAYS LATER

Where the steps led

Self-reported at day 90 with a dated detail.

08 · WHO IS STEPPING

Days with a step, across backgrounds

Each dot is a group's share of days with a step; the faint line is its uncertainty range; the dashed line is the overall figure. Gaps show where funded seats and hosts should go.

09 · WHO HELPED

Kinds of support, and the lift each shows

Difference in days with a step (out of 28) between people who had this support and people who didn't. Associations, not causes.

AI prompts are logged like any other support, so the record shows whether they help or just add noise.

10 · TRANSITION × SIZE

Where it's hardest

Share who reached their bigger goal, by what they're moving toward and how big it is. Darker is higher.

11 · DISTRIBUTION

Rooms travel through groups that already meet

People by the kind of group their room ran in, with each type's share still stepping in week four. The public record names group types, never organizations.

12 · 28 DAYS, PERSON BY PERSON12 of —

What the partner holds

One person's 28 days per row, as the partner stores it: pseudonymous, no names, no words.

13 · HOW THE DATA WORKS

Held by partners, added up openly

Every partner records the same fields the same way (the Step Record standard), so their numbers can be added up without pooling their data.

person_refPseudonymous, unique within the partner. Never leaves.
day · statusDay 1–28; step, changed it, no step. Leaves as totals only.
step_categoryReach out, make, apply, learn, serve, decide. Totals only.

reached · day_90Goal reached by day 28; where it led by day 90. Totals only.
group_type · region · backgroundCoarse bands only. Totals only.
evidence · consentSelf-reported or host-confirmed; what the person agreed to share. Consent never leaves.
lineWhat the person wrote. Never leaves unless they share it.
1 · Each partner adds up its own

The partner's node computes weekly totals. Raw records stay with the partner.

2 · Questions travel to the data

For new questions, each node answers locally and returns only totals.

3 · Protected before publishing

Groups under 10 people are hidden; a little statistical noise is added; research access follows the Five Safes.

The ask

Help me fill the record with real steps.

We're looking for groups and sponsors to open the first rooms, a technical partner for the data standard, academic partners for the evaluation, and funders to back the record as a public good.
