Rooms · The prototype

One step a day, for 28 days, with a few people who notice.

Three people use it

01

The participant names today's step, takes it, and answers one message each evening.

02

The host, usually the group's own leader, notices who's gone quiet and runs the weekly meeting.

03

The sponsor gets a count of what happened, never names.

Each person picks one bigger thing. Every day they take one small step toward it. Every evening, one message: did you take it? The room sees who stepped, not what they wrote. Once a week the room meets.

01Try it

Tap through it as each of the three.

9:41●●●
The screen that matters

Today's step. Three checks tick as the person types: small enough to do today, specific enough to know it's done, and it moves the bigger thing.

The daily loop

Done, not today, or changed it. One line. Tomorrow's step. About a minute.

What the room sees

A grid of who stepped each day. The words stay with the person unless they share them.

What the sponsor gets

Counts: days with a step, who's still going in week four, who reached their goal. No names.

IllustrativePeople, rooms and figures in the prototype are invented to show the flow.
02Every screen

Eight screens.

03Left out on purpose

What it doesn't have

Each of these comes in only if the first rooms show it's needed.

  • A feed, likes or public streaksThe room sees a grid of days. Nothing to scroll, nothing to perform.
  • Content, courses or lessonsThe person brings the bigger thing. The room brings attention.
  • AI-written stepsAI asks a question that makes the step smaller. It never writes the step.
  • Host training at scaleAfter host-run rooms match founder-run rooms.
  • Sponsor dashboards with namesCounts only. Always.
04Paper kit

The same thing on four sheets

05Who it's for

Groups that already meet, and organizations whose people are at a turning point.

Programs near their last session, employers during transitions, and congregations, chapters and clubs that want action between meetings.

  • A group that already meets weekly or monthly
  • A leader people already trust, willing to host
  • People moving toward something that matters to them
